From kitchen renovations to significant development projects
After eight years of architectural practice in Vienna, he returned to Slovakia in 2010 and founded the RULES studio, which initially focused primarily on renovations and small-scale projects. His perfectionism and pursuit of excellence are evident in the studio’s work, which has garnered an ever-growing number of fans and clients.
In the years that followed, the small design studio gradually evolved into a firm capable of handling a broader range of projects and coordinating them with the same attention to detail. Each new project helped shape a way of working that combines architectural vision, technical discipline, and a sense for the everyday functionality of space.
With growing experience came larger projects, new typologies, and more challenging collaborations. Nevertheless, the foundation remained the same: to design well-thought-out solutions with long-term value and to move the studio forward without losing a personal approach to clients and to architecture itself.

Studio apartment 15 m²
The first projects were worked on in the evenings in a studio apartment in Bratislava's Ružinov district. The characteristic features of our future offices were already apparent here. Suspended monitors, console tables, and greenery have accompanied us ever since.
Web 1.0
The first rules.sk website focused on personal presentation and featured school projects and competitions. The self-made website was simple, clear, and timeless. It attracted our first clients, who helped us launch.

Studio 15 m²
Our second location and first real office was in a former kindergarten in Bratislava's Petržalka. The office had the same floor area as the studio apartment, but there were three of us and we already looked like a company.

Studio 45 m²
Growing demand for our services forced us to look for larger spaces, which we found in a multifunctional building in Petržalka. After six months, we decided to stay, designed a new interior, and ordered curtains. Half a year later, we were moving again.
